Wenzel Farms makes the best Thuringer. I think they might add more pepper to it. If I can't get it locally, I will order online. Delivery is fast and packaged very good.
50 years hence, there was a cold cut (luncheon meat) called Cincinnati sold in New Jersey, since disappeared. Apparently, it was actually something called Thuringer, I just recently discovered. I ordered from Wenzel's and lo and behold!!! Ah yes, that awesome taste! And that was after a smooth online order and quick delivery. This 85 year old highly recommends both Wenzels and Thuringer (Cincinnati, please).
